The New Confection

2005 I made a bold move. I decided to move to Sweden away from my friends and my family to discover something new, to be with my girlfriend and to live life.

Since then I have found that I am passionate about web developing, the Internet and design. With a background in Industrial design I love the idea of mixing the 3D world with the Internet, both in the way of taking digital offline and taking analogue online.

During the last year I have been focusing on my digital development at Hyper Island. I have been through the gauntlet and now I am as prepared as I will ever be to head into the professional world of web design. So look out for me, here I come, I will be using words like colour, analogue and nek minnit...

I am a tree, in constant growth reaching for the sky providing support and shelter to those who come near. Supported by my roots influencing every decision I have made and will make.

Site design to me should be fluid. You shouldn’t be moved from page to page a website is an experience. One that is page based is jarring.

It can be likened to taking the tube. You get off at one station and explore that area you go down and then pop up at another station. These stations could be meters apart or light years apart. To alleviate the disconnection you need to be able to see the dots and move freely between them in the way you feel most comfortable.

This is of course my ideal it is not always possible to make a one page site but that I feel should be the ultimate goal to have it at least feel like one page.
